The Double Room had a lovely view and was spotless. There was a cozy firepit outside for chill evenings and the overall vibe was super relaxing. The only small downside was the shower pressure could've been better. But honestly, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff made it a great stay!

Cozy stay with helpful staff
I had a pleasant stay in the Double Room, where the staff accommodated my needs perfectly, especially allowing me to bring my muddy bike into my room. The bed was super comfortable, and I really enjoyed the delicious evening meal at the pub. I was a bit disappointed that breakfast wasn't included as advertised.

stayed 1 night in a double room with a garden view and it was amazin! the customer service was genuine and the landlord took time to chat, which was really nice. the vibe here is super warm and creative, with awesome wooden sculptures in the garden that show a lot of effort. perfect for couples, groups, or even just chillin by the fire pits outside. definitely a unique place you shouldn’t miss!
the only downside was that it felt a bit cramped in the bar area when busy. also, they need to work on their drink supply since they ran out of my favorite spirit.

Lovely stay with furry friends!
I stayed one night and got a nice room with a bath. I saw rabbits in the field outside my window—so sweet! The staff were super friendly and even sorted out a late check-in for me. Wasn't too keen on the Sunday roast though. it could've been way better. Enjoyed the vegan dish at the pub area though!

Great choice for a quick stopover in Betchworth with incredible value for money. The mattress in my room actually provided decent support despite the place needing a refresh. Make sure to hunt down charging points beforehand as they seem limited.

great atmosphere but slightly outdated decor
The double room offered a spacious layout, perfect for our needs. The dining experience was exceptional, with a soothing ambiance created by the cozy fireplace.
The decor in the common areas seemed a bit dated.

Came for a night and loved the garden view from the room—perfect for a lazy afternoon. The outdoor seating area is pleasant and provides a nice atmosphere, especially in the evening.
The carpet in the room looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in ages, and the dressing table felt sticky to the touch. The bed wobbled like a podracer on a bumpy road, and the mattress was a size too big for the frame, making for an uncomfortable night. dining outside was marred by dirty tables and the vegetarian Wellington being more of a sloppy mess than expected. Seeing staff smoke close by was a downside too, taking away from the experience.
